IPL 2016: REVEALED - Whether Glenn Maxwell was rested or dropped for Match 39 vs Royal Challengers Bangalore?

New Delhi: In a surprise move, Kings XI Punjab hit the field for Match 39 against Royal Challengers Bangalore without their swashbuckling batsman Glenn Maxwell.

The Australian hasn't been in the best of form lately, and speculations were rife that he was dropped from the playing XI.

However, after his team's one-run loss against Virat Kohli and his boys, Maxwell took to Twitter to say that he was hoping to recover from an injury for next game.

In the ninth edition of IPL, Maxwell has amassed 179 runs from nine matches, including two fifties.
