Olympic football: Brazil captain Silva predicts attacking gold medal match

London: Brazil captain Thiago Silva has predicted an attacking gold medal duel against Mexico in Saturday`s Olympic final at Wembley Stadium in London.
Mexico has scored seven goals in their past two matches while Brazil has scored three times in each of their five games in the tournament, reported Xinhua.
"Both teams have shown they like to go forward at every opportunity," Silva said Wednesday. "It will be an attractive match to watch because neither of us will be sitting back for too long. I just hope that we make fewer mistakes than they do." Mexico will take confidence from its 2-0 victory over Brazil in an international friendly in June. On that occasion, Mexico fielded a near full-strength line-up comprising mostly over-23 players while Brazil`s team was almost identical to the one that will start Saturday`s final. IANS
