BIZARRE! Novak Djokovic ripped off his own shirt in the US Open semi-final – WATCH

Novak Djokovic secured a 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 win over Frenchman Gael Monfils to book US Open final berth.

New Delhi: Novak Djokovic progressed to the US Open final for the seventh time with a 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 win over Frenchman Gael Monfils.

Left weary by the hot and humid conditions in New York, both players visible struggled in a topsy turvy battle.

Djokovic was clearly looking frustrated by Monfils intimidating style of play and in-match antics when he let a 40-0 lead slip to the Frenchman.

Be it the incident where a moth was resting on Monfil's shoulders or the Frenchman ordering coca-coal mid game, Djokovic some how came out victorious in the nerve-wrecking semi-final.
