Akshay Kumar's 'Gold' trailer to be out on June 25—Check new poster

New Delhi: Bollywood's one of the most versatile stars Akshay Kumar is all gung-ho about his upcoming venture 'Gold'. The sports drama is directed by Reema Kagti. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment banner.

Akki took to his Twitter handle and shared a fresh poster revealing the trailer launch date as well. He wrote: “The dream that united our nation, The dream that began in 1936, The dream that took 12 years to become a reality. Get ready to witness... #GoldTrailer releasing on the 25th of June.”

The 'PadMan' of Hindi cinema has always delivered a great performance leaving the audiences in awe of him.

Akshay will be seen in a totally different avatar on-screen. A few days back, the first look poster of 'Gold' was unveiled and it received a warm response from the audiences.

The film features Akshay in the lead role with Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal playing pivotal parts. The story is set on the backdrop of India winning its first gold medal in hockey as a free nation in the 1948 Summer Olympics.

The film will be laced with patriotic fervour and national spirit.

Television's famous face Mouni Roy will be making her big screen debut with this film. The movie is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2018.
