Secret Superstar: Aamir Khan hasn't slept for a week - Here's why

New Delhi: Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar with Dangal girl Zaira Wasim is all set to roll in theaters on October 19, 2017. The movie is much-awaited already by all the Aamir fans but it looks like more than the fans, it is the superstar himself who is excited for the film release. 

Aamir took to Twitter to share his excitement with fans and wrote that he hasn't been able to sleep for a week and that he is waiting for reactions to the film.

Secret Superstar is helmed by Advait Chandan with Amit Trivedi as the music director. The movie tells the story of a young girl who wants to pursue music but isn't permitted to do so by her father. She then takes to YouTube to share videos of her music and quickly becomes a YouTube sensation. However, nobody knows her identity as she performs wearing a hijab and never reveals her name to the viewers.

This is the second time that Zaira Wasim will be sharing the screen space with superstar Aamir Khan. Zaira played the role of young Geeta Phogat in Aamir Khan's Dangal for which she also received the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress.
