Los Angeles: British comedian Russell Brand will fight the felony charge stemming from a phone-tossing incident, says his lawyer.
The actor was arrested and booked on count of simple criminal damage to property for throwing a paparazzi`s iPhone in New Orleans.
"We`re going to fight it," attorney Robert Glass told E! News.
One report is that Brand plans to claim that he was provoked.
