Honda to launch Accord hybrid in India next year

The company has stopped the sale of Accord (existing version) in the country owing to poor sales.

New Delhi: After the launch of Honda Hybrid in international markets such as North America, Honda is all set to launch the hybrid in India as well.

As per reports Honda Hybrid will come to India in 2014. The vehicle will be assembled in India.

The company has stopped the sale of Accord (existing version) in the country owing to poor sales.

The company, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokyo headquartered Honda, currently sells four models in the country--hatchback Brio, sports utility vehicle CR-V and sedans Amaze and Accord.

Last month, Honda had unveiled the all new version of its sedan 'City', which it plans to again start selling from January 2014 in petrol and diesel variants.
