Dhanush to sing Rahman’s tunes in ‘Ranjhana’?

Mumbai: ‘Kolaveri Di’ sensation Dhanush is all set to make his grand debut in Bollywood in Anand Rai’s ‘Raanjhna’ opposite Sonam Kapoor. The ambitious project which marks the debut of the Tamil actor will have AR Rahman’s music. After the stupendous success of ‘Kolaveri Di’, Dhanush’s fans have been expecting good music from each of his films. Knowing about the high expectations, Rai insisted on having Rahman on board. Confirming the news to a daily, the filmmaker said, "Rahman will compose the music of Raanjhna. I am very excited to work with him. He is brilliant with romantic tracks. This story needs to be told in a certain manner. And who can do it better than the maestro." According to a source, Rahman went through the script before giving his nod to the film. "Rahman selects his projects very carefully. This film is a love story and Aanand wanted the maestro on board," added the source. Although, Dhanush has confessed to be a non singer, but would he cash in on the popularity of Kolaveri and sing a song composed by Rahman? Watch this space for more.
