Mumbai: Actor Vivek Oberoi, who would be a part of upcoming sequel of `Krrish` as the main baddie, says he loves villains.
Vivek has played characters with grey shades in `Company`, `Shootout at Lokhandwala`, etc.
"I love villain characters...They are so exciting to play. They are so different and challenging. I have played roles with grey shades, but this character in `Krrish 3` is completely black, I am a villain and I am loving it," Vivek told PTI.
`Krrish 3` will continue the story of Rohit Mehra and his superhero son Krrish, after `Koi...Mil Gaya` and `Krrish`, both of which were hits.
Vivek plays the main villain in `Krrish 3`, against Hrithik. "My role in the film is something that I have never done earlier. Audience will get to see a different side of me in the film. I must say that `Krrish 3 is a role of a lifetime...Of a twisted villain. I had fun doing the film."
It is his first film with Hrithik. "Hrithik is so cool guy. We grew up together, we used to cycle when we were kids. With `Krrish 3` we were bonding all over again, reconnecting. We used to hang out, go to gym, have dinner together. Even when he was not shooting he used to come on the sets, just to hang out, to help me with the body language...Scenes," Vivek said.
Directed by Rakesh Roshan, `Krrish 3` also stars Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut, Shaurya Chauhan, and is reportedly set to release in Diwali next year.
Vivek is also looking forward to his another upcoming film: `Kismat Love Paisa Dilli` directed by Sanjay Khanduri of `Ek Chaalis Ki Last Local` fame. For the first time, Vivek will be seen opposite Mallika Sherawat.
"It is a comic thriller. We have used the language that youth uses today and approach certain issues but in a fun way. We have tried to tap the current issues in a satirical way. The film is about what all can happen with a guy in one night in Delhi," Vivek said.
The film releases on October 5.
Talking about his character, Vivek said, "I play an ordinary guy who is not a hero, he is sort of cheap, naughty and excited Delhi guy....I was very nervous because I had not done this kind of role earlier."
He said he took efforts to acquire the `Delhi lingo`.
"I spent time with Delhi University and hostel guys to learn all those words....Vocabulary, to start talking like that," he said.
