Mumbai: Filmmaker Shaad Ali’s wedding brought former couple Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi on a common platform. The lady, who was accompanied by husband Abhishek, pa-in-law Amitabh and ma-in-law Jaya Bachchan wore a blood red Anarkali dress. She walked hand-in-hand with her better half and looked most comfortable by his side. Vivek too made his presence felt with his spouse Priyanka who is expecting their first child. The two looked good in shades of red and posed for the paparazzi that had turned up. Ali is friends with both Abhishek and Vivek. He had directed the two of them in ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ and ‘Saathiyaa’ respectively. Abhishek Bachchan shared his experience at Ali’s wedding on Twitter. He wrote, “Danced on the streets of Mumbai after a very long time for the ????? of my friend Shaad Ali’s wedding.Was great fun! #MeriYaarKiShaadi(sic).” Even Amitabh Bachchan couldn’t stop himself from sharing his excitement. He had tweeted, “The `barat` was Shaad Ali`s, as he gets married to Aarti .. so the entire family joined in for this traditional bearing .. ah ..fun.
