Leann Rimes sues dentist

Los Angeles: Singer Leann Rimes has launched a lawsuit against her dentist, accusing him of ruining her teeth.

The 30-year-old has plans to sue Duane C. MCKay for the dental work he carried out over a three-year period, claiming she was left with severe pain and bleeding. She also complained that during the period, she underwent nine agonising root canals and bone grafting procedures, reports contactmusic.com. In the lawsuit, obtained by tmz.com, Rimes claimed she has been left with a "permanent cosmetic deficiency" and that problem has affected her career as a performer. She has sought unspecified damages for physical and emotional injuries, as well as for lost earnings. IANS
