Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan has struck a rough patch for sure. Following the complaint against the actor who was spotted smoking at Jaipur`s Sawai Man Singh stadium in April this year, the Rajasthan Police today served a summon on the superstar to appear in a Jaipur court.
The complainant, Anand Singh Rathore, had moved court on April 9, a day after the IPL match. Rathore is the director of a private cricket academy in Jaipur. He alleged that despite a ban on smoking in public, the actor, co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, puffed away in front of thousands of cricket fans.
The court took note of the complaint and asked the actor to be present for hearing on Saturday next, May 26.
Recently, SRK was issued a five-year ban from entering Mumbai`s Wankhede stadium after an alleged scuffle and exchange of expletives with the stadium staff and officials of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).
