Katy Perry plans to do films

London, April 14: `Hot and Cold` singer Katy Perry wants to tread the path of musicians like Beyonce and Britney Spears by venturing into films. But the young pop star does not want to do a film like Mariah Carey`s infamous `Glitter` which was panned by critics and audiences like, reported News of The World online.

"I`d like to do something in film but I don`t want to make Glitter," said Perry. The 24-year-old who broke out into the music scene last year with her risque number,`I Kissed a Girl`, is known for her distinctive dress sense which often borders on the weird. Bureau Report
