Mumbai: Pooja Bhatt’s new film ‘Jism 2’ starring international porn star-turned-Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has landed in a fresh controversy. Reports confirm Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) agitators ripped posters of ‘Jism 2’ BEST buses, protesting that stark obscenity is exhibited through the posters of the film.
Considered too hot to handle by Mumbai civic authorities, Mayor Sunil Praphu ordered their removal from buses. The action followed a complaint by NCP legislator Vidya Chavan that the posters were obscene. "We received a complaint from Chavan, who alleged that the posters were obscene. I have asked BEST general manager to remove such posters from BEST buses," Mayor Sunil Prabhu told media. The poster sees an almost nude lady lying covered with a wet piece of white translucent cloth. The film is being touted as the boldest film ever made in Bollywood. Director Pooja Bhatt roped in porn star diva Sunny Leone to play a raunchy lead role in ‘Jism 2’ after the former was impressed by the latter’s stint in the last season of Salman Khan hosted popular reality show ‘Big Boss 6’. ‘Jism 2’ is a sequel to 2003 flick ‘Jism’ which had John Abraham and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles. The film is slated for August 3 release.
