Macaulay Culkin`s smoking habit on rise

Los Angeles: Actor Macaulay Culkin`s increasing cigarette intake, reportedly almost 60 buds a day, is worrying his friends and family.

The 32-year-old, who became popular as a child artist through the 1990 film `Home Alone`, battled heroin addiction, which drove him close to death, last year. However, after recovering from the problem, he has now resorted to smoking, reports dailymail.co.uk. "He`s put his nicotine addiction into overdrive. Almost every time I see him, he has a cigarette dangling from his lips and is puffing furiously," National Enquirer magazine quoted a source as saying. The effects of his unhealthy habit are starting to show. "He`s coughing a lot, his teeth are yellowing, and friends and family are worried he`s killing himself," the source said. IANS
