LiLo may play Liz Taylor in new movie

Washington: Lindsay Lohan is reportedly in talks to play the role of a young Dame Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming TV movie.

Bosses at America’s Lifetime network have been working on a film about Taylor since May 2011, two months after the actresses’ death. Independent producer Larry Thompson is overseeing the project, tentatively entitled ‘Elizabeth and Richard: A Love Story’. According to Hollywood Reporter, the ‘Mean Girls’ star has been discussing the lead role with TV chiefs, Contactmusic reported. The film is said to focus on the love affair between Taylor and Richard Burton. The celebrity couple split in 1974 after 10 years as husband and wife, before marrying again in 1975 - the second union lasted just a year. ANI
