Find love on a billboard

Sydney, Sept 16: An Australian dating service has given the quest for love a gigantic dimension by plastering images of single men and women, dressed only in their underwear, on billboards across the nation.The billboards for dating website www.wifewanted.com.au feature the pictures, names and ages of real clients, with an invitation to motorists to express their interest on the site.

"I want to liberate singles from the notion that you must be a desperado if you admit you don`t want spend your life alone," said Bea Obradovic, the website`s founder and the brainchild behind the billboard idea. "I`m basically trying to give Mr Right a helping hand." Obradovic, 40 and herself single, refinanced her house to pay for the ads, which feature either five men or five women. She said that surprisingly, there was no shortage of volunteers willing to wear their heart -- and little else -- on their sleeve. "I had a fabulous response, no one was nervous and were quite happy to do it," she added. Bureau Report
