Qatar set to open first ‘women’s only’ cinema in Middle East

The first women`s only cinema is set to open in the Qatari capital Doha later this week, the first of its kind in the Middle East.

Doha: The first women`s only cinema is set to open in the Qatari capital Doha later this week, the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The cinema will be located in Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) Ladies Club and will show the latest releases that are screened in other theatres in Doha, Gulf News reports.
All films will be provided by the Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company, which already operates some of the largest cinema outlets in Doha. The cinema will have a seating capacity of 154 and three different films will be shown each weekend. An extra film will be screened on Saturday for children who will have to be accompanied by a female relative. Films to be screened will be known two weeks in advance. However, the presentation schedule will change according to the popularity of a particular film. ANI
