Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has perfected the art of acting, went a step further this time while shooting for his upcoming movie `Rann`.

Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has perfected the art of acting, went a step further this time while shooting for his upcoming movie `Rann`, when he completed a 13-minute-long scene in a single take, flooring the film unit and crew present there. According to sources, the actor shot the 13-minute monologue, perhaps the longest his career, in one take.
"It was instantly done in the first take itself. The crew was astonished and claps were heard much after the scene was over," sources said. They also recalled an intense scene shot by the actor in the RGV movie, where Bachchan could not help but feel the pain of the character and his eyes welled up with tears. Also, he always insists that Hindi dialogues be written in Devnagiri script, they said. The Bollywood icon plays Vijay Harshvardhan Malik, a media baron in the film which is a take on the functioning of the media. `Rann` releases on January 22, 2010. PTI
