New Delhi: Going by the latest news, the recent Bollywood scoop has arrived straight from the KJo camp and we have been dropped an information that actor Imran Khan, who was rumored to have been roped in to play the male lead in the film adaptation of author Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling novel ‘Two States’ is not in a state to be a part of the project due to his date issues.
The movie’s fate is still undecided as the producers are having a serious trouble in finding a suitable hero to play the role of a Punjabi boy from Delhi in love with his IIM batch mate who hails from Chennai. The novel has been a super hit among the masses for the intercommunity conflict it shows where a couple desperately tries to find their way to bring their differing families to get along. With a powerful banner like Dharma Productions, a superb director like Vishal Bhardwaj and a storyline that promises to rake in moolah, it is hard to believe why earlier Shahrukh Khan, later on Ranbir Kapoor and now Imran Khan stroked-off their names from the star cast.
