Salman-Asin come together for Bazmee’s ‘Ready’

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee’s latest venture ‘Ready’ stars B-town’s original hunk Salman Khan and ‘Ghajini’ sensation Asin Thottmukal as lead pair.

Mumbai: Known for his penchant for multi-starrer flicks, Bollywood director Anees Bazmee has helmed Box Office hits like ‘Singh Is Kinng’, ‘Welcome’ and ‘No Entry.’ News has it that Bazmee’s latest venture ‘Ready’ stars B-town’s original hunk Salman Khan and ‘Ghajini’ sensation Asin Thottmukal as lead pair. Talking to a news daily on the star cast of ‘Ready’, Bazmee said, "That`s right, the only hero and heroine in ‘Ready’ are Salman and Asin." By the way, Bazmee is currently shooting for another multi-starrer film ‘Thank You’, which features Akshay Kumar, Irrfan Khan, Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Sonam Kapoor, Celina Jaitley and Rimmi Sen. Meanwhile, clearing the air on ‘Ready’, Bazmee said, "However, as is the case in all my films, ‘Ready’ too would have number of other important characters. I am looking at around 20-22 of them." The shooting of ‘Ready’ will begin once the director returns from Canada. Buzz has it that Bazmee will shoot for ‘Thank You’ once he completes the first schedule of ‘Ready.’ Speaking on his latest venture ‘Ready’, Bazmee said, "Comedy is an integral part of ‘Ready.’ However, there would be some action and drama as well." Anees Bazmee’s ‘Ready’ is scheduled for the year 2011 release.
