I considered quitting acting after `Harry Potter`, says Emma Watson

London: Actress Emma Watson admits that she thought of quitting acting after finishing the `Harry Potter` series.

Watson confessed that she made a conscious decision to step away from the blockbuster series after filming wrapped on `Deathly Hallows - Part 2`, reported Digital Spy. "It`s funny because people are probably playing the films somewhere right now but for me it happened three or four years ago. I basically took two years out and stepped as far away from it as I could - I mean, the Harry Potter films were still coming out - but I took time to really try and figure out who I was and what I wanted to do. I even considered not being an actress," she said. Watson will star in Sofia Coppola`s upcoming film `The Bling Ring`, based on the true-life story of Californian teens who robbed celebrity houses. The 23-year-old described her character Nicki as `a surreal, delusional, eccentric who is at times very unsympathetic`. PTI
