Mumbai: News of Jaspal Bhatti’s death came as a jolt to millions, especially the entertainment industry, Thursday morning. The popular comedian met with a fatal road accident in the early hours of Thursday at around 3 am, when Bhatti’s car while he was on his way to Jalandhar from Bhatinda hit a roadside tree. Bhatti, 57, made his mark on TV with hit shows like ‘Flop Show’ and ‘Ulta Pulta’. The actor-cum-comedian tickled the funny bone of the audience with his gifted knack to push the government to the wall with his amazing satires. Jaspal Bhatti won wide applause for selecting socially relevant issues and presenting them with a pinch of salt laced with utter humour. The entertainment fraternity took to Twitter in veneration following the death of the legend.
