Kanye West didn't write 'famous' lyrics about Swift

Kanye West's controversial lyrics in “Famous" about singer Taylor Swift created quite a frenzy, but now it is being claimed that the rapper didn't even write the lines in his track.

Los Angeles: Kanye West's controversial lyrics in “Famous" about singer Taylor Swift created quite a frenzy, but now it is being claimed that the rapper didn't even write the lines in his track.

The line read: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b***h famous/ God damn/ I made that b***h famous”.

Swift took an offence and shared that she was upset about being called "that b****" in the track and berated the rapper for only telling her half the line in the song after Kim Kardashian released a video of the two stars discussing the track.

According to The Sun on Sunday, Rihanna's former public relations manager Jonathan Hay alleges the lines were written by Cyhi The Prynce, real name Cydel Young, who is actually credited on the track, reports mirror.co.uk.

Jonathan said: “The lyrics are written by Cydel. Kanye got all the backlash but he isn't even the one who wrote them. Cydel lays down the lines and Kanye will ok them and perform them."

West famously interrupted Swift's speech at the 2009 MTV VMA Awards.

The two appeared to have ended their feud when she presented him with the MTV Video Vanguard Award at last year's event. But they began feuding again after West's single "Famous" was released earlier this year.
