Kicking booze, drug habit was like "getting out of prison": Melanie

London: Melanie Griffith, who battled with booze and drug addiction, says she feels as if she is "out of prison" after kicking the habit."I am an alcoholic and an addict and all my life I have fought against this, and I`ve done it well," a news daily quoted her, as telling Spain`s Hola! mag.

The 52-year-old actress added: "Now I feel free. I don`t drink, I don`t take pills, nothing, and it`s fantastic, like getting out of prison." ANI
