Los Angeles: American horror drama TV series, 'The Walking Dead', has roped in actor Corey Hawkins for a key role on its upcoming sixth season.
The "Straight Outta Compton" star will recur as Heath, an important member of the Alexandria Safe Zone, in the upcoming season of the zombie-themed series, reported Aceshowbiz.
Heath is described as "an eventual Alexandria supply runner, friend to Glenn and love interest to Denise." He is first introduced in issue 69 of the comic book series.
A first look at Hawkins as Heath has made its way out online. Hawkins is the first actor officially announced as addition for the sixth season.
The arrival of Heath hints that Rick and his group will stay in Alexandria for a while after they first arrived there toward the end of season five.
