‘Bombay Velvet’: Check out the ‘classic’ posters

The brand new posters of Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ are out. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, the film set in the backdrop of Bombay in the 1950s will see the actor playing a street-fighter and the actress essaying the role of a Jazz singer.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, the film set in the backdrop of Bombay in the 1960s will see the actor playing a street-fighter and the actress essaying the role of a Jazz singer. Based on Gyan Prakash's book ‘Mumbai Fables’, ‘Bombay Velvet’ set in early 1960's , will see Ranbir as a street fighter and Anushka as a Jazz singer. The screenplay is jointly written by Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Vikramaditya Motwane. The film also features Karan Johar (in a negative role), Kay Kay Menon and Vivaan Shah in pivotal roles. Produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star Studious, ‘Bombay Velvet’ is slated to release on May 15, 2015.
