Shahid Kapoor FINALLY talks about 'Padmavati' co-star! Guess who?

New Delhi: B-Town's one of the most talented actors Shahid Kapoor has a dedicated fan following, who await the release of his films with baited breath. With films like 'Haider' and 'Udta Punjab' to his credit, Sasha has reached a new high in his career.

Now, the talented star will be working with yet another amazing filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) in 'Padmavati'. Shahid will be seen playing Rana Rawal Ratan Singh on reel while Deepika Padukone, who plays Rani Padmini will be his on-screen wife.

Excited much? Well, so are we, and especially more so as we know Ranveer Singh is also in the film, playing Alauddin Khilji. In an interview with Bollywood Life.com, when Shahid was quizzed over his equation with Ranveer behind the camera, he said, “Ranveer and I have always been chilled out together. i have never had issues with him. I was on stage hosting when he got his debut award and I remember he was crying and it was a special moment for him. So I have kind-of seen him grow in the last six years and I loved what he did in Bajirao Mastani. He and Sanjay sir are a great team, so I’m sure that will bring in a lot of goodness in the film.

So, we really want to see this period drama!
