Washington: Rihanna’s single ‘We Found Love’ has made a comeback to the top of the U.S. pop charts for a ninth non-consecutive week.
The controversial video directed by Melina Matsoukas was knocked off the top of the Billboard Hot 100 at the end of 2011 by Lmfao’s Sexy & I Know It, which falls to two on the new countdown, Contactmusic reported.
Meanwhile, Lmfao’s other big 2011 hit Party Rock Anthem is stuck on to the ninth spot and chalks up the third longest run in the top 10 at 29 weeks.
Only LeAnn Rimes’ How Do I Live (32 weeks) and Santana’s Smooth (30 weeks) have spent more time in the top 10.
Bruno Mars’ It Will Rain returns to number three, Adele scores a third top five hit from her album 21, as Set Fire to the Rain jumps up to four, and Flo Rida stays put at five with Good Feeling.
