Exploiting yourself sexually for men not a good look, says Adele

London: Adele, who is now a woman oozing sex appeal with subtle blonde highlights and impeccable make-up, has said that she won’t change herself for any man. The down-to earth singer, who came into the limelight in 2008 and bagged six Grammys at this year’s function, believed that “the key is to be happy with yourself”.

The 23-year-old insisted that she never felt any pressure about the way she looks. However, no one could fail to notice she had lost several stone since she was forced to cancel her highly-anticipated US tour last October with a career-threatening throat condition. As usual, the girl from Tottenham played the whole thing down. “I’ve never seen magazine covers and seen music videos and been like, ‘I need to look like that if I want to be a success’,” a leading daily has quoted her as saying. “I’ve never seen pictures of hot men and thought, ‘I have to change what I look like if I want to be with them’. I don’t even need to if I want to sell more records. It’s not stopping me from doing anything and I don’t find that kind of thing attractive. I don’t want to be some skinny Minny with my t**s out. I really don’t want to do it. And I don’t want people confusing what it is that I’m about. I never think, ‘Oh I’m plus size... I’m so much bigger than other artists out there’. No matter what you look like, I think the key is to be happy with yourself. Exploiting yourself sexually is not a good look,” she added. ANI
