Samantha Fox treated for rabies

London: Samantha Fox is being treated for rabies after she was bitten by a stray cat while on holiday in Thailand.

"I love animals, especially cats but over there they`re considered like rats and are left to fend for themselves," dailystar.co.uk quoted Fox as saying. "I ended up feeding a lot of them, giving them bits of shellfish after dinner. One was laying on my feet and I thought we were getting on really well. So I went to stroke him but he bit me so hard it went down to the bone," she said. Fox began treatment immediately at a clinic on the island and is still receiving regular injections ten days after returning from Thailand. "The treatment makes you feel sick and horrible - really fluey and shaky," she added. IANS
