Gary Barlow crowned celebrity dad of 2012

London: Gary Barlow has been named celebrity dad of the year, beating reigning champion Peter Andre to the title.

The Take That singer, who is number one in the singles chart, collected the prize ahead of the birth of his fourth child. The title is officially called the Premier Inn Celebrity Dad Of The Year 2012 and is chosen in a public vote, a leading daily has reported. It comes just days after he organised the spectacular Diamond Jubilee concert outside Buckingham Palace, while his track ‘Sing’, written for the occasion, is top of the charts. It is the first time Barlow, 41, has won it. Earlier this year he posted a message on Twitter telling Andre to “stand aside”. ANI
