A three-storey building collapsed in south Mumba on Friday. Several people are feared trapped under the debris.

Mumbai: A four-storey building collapsed on Friday in south Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Road area. At least seven fire brigade vehicles, including ambulance and relief teams, were rushed to the spot.

Part of the ground and structure of Ahmed building (commercial galas) collapsed at Lokmanya Tilak marg, opposite to Commissioner Of Police Office, Fort.

The entire building was evacuated and no injuries were reported in the incident. Meanwhile, authorities are trying to ascertain the reasons for the collapse. 

Earlier on September 11, around 14 people were rescued from the debris of a three-storey building that collapsed night near Crawford Market in south Mumbai. 

On July 2019, at least seven people were killed after a four-storey building that collapsed in Mumbai’s Dongri.
