INDORE: A leopard strayed into a residential area in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on Friday, injuring three people. The entire incident was captured on camera.

Panic-stricken residents were seen trying to escape the area as the big cat ran amok on the streets.

The leopard strayed into a housing colony in Indore's Palhar Nagar area. It later entered an under-construction building. It later shifted to another building and stayed there for nearly three hours.

Three persons – one civic employee and two forest staffers – were injured. The leopard was later caught by forest officials.
In the video, local authorities are seen trying to capture the leopard, and forest officials shooting tranquilliser darts.

Four tranquillising darts were shot and the leopard was later taken away in a cage.
