Bihar polls: RJD to organise nine rallies in support of Janata Parivar

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will be organizing nine rallies in support of all the three parties constituting the Janata Parivar in Bihar, prior to the assembly elections, to give a fitting reply to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Patna: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will be organizing nine rallies in support of all the three parties constituting the Janata Parivar in Bihar, prior to the assembly elections, to give a fitting reply to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"We are going to organise nine big rallies as a response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s three rallies in Bihar. All the big leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mulayam Singh Yadav, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar, Sharad Pawar, will be there in those rallies," said senior RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh.

He further said that Narendra Modi should apologise to the people of Bihar for abusing them by questioning Chief Minister Nitish Kumar`s `political DNA`.

"He was asking questions about the political DNA of Bihar`s chief minister in Muzaffarpur rally. By saying this he has actually disrespected the people of Bihar. He should apologise to the people of Bihar," Singh told ANI.

The assembly polls in Bihar would be held most likely in September or October this year.

The BJP, which along with its allies had won 31 of the 40 seats in Bihar in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, is set for a battle against a united Janata Parivar comprising of the JD (U) and RJD.
