New Delhi: It was a foggy to start to busy Monday morning at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi with several flights getting delayed due to low visibility at the runway.

The visibility fell below 75 metres visibility - a minimum visibility of 125 metres is required for take off.

Early morning services of almost all airlines was hit leading to a cascading effect on domestic schedule of all airlines as Delhi is the main base for all carriers.

Meanwhile, cold wave conditions are once again being felt in north India after heavy snowfall in the upper reaches of the Himalayas yesterday.

Intense cold wave conditions persist in Shimla in Himachal Pradesh and most parts of Jammu and Kashmir as snowfall hit the regions.
