Three women found dead in Delhi house, all belonging to same family.

The bodies of a two women and a 12-year-old girl were found dead on Sunday in a building here, police said.

New Delhi: The bodies of a two women and a 12-year-old girl were found dead on Sunday in a building here, police said.

The incident was reported from the New Usmanpur area in east Delhi.

The dead have been identified them as Shaira (50), Nisha (25) and Shabnam (12) - all belonging to the same family. All have cut marks on the throats.

DCP, Northeast Delhi, Ajit Kumar said that police received a call in the evening after foul smell spread in the two-storey building and a team reached the spot to check, and found the bodies.

"Police is trying to get in touch with other family members. Bodies of Nisha and Shabnam were found on the first floor, while the body of the mother (Shaira) was found on the second floor. Police is probing all angles into the matter," Ajit Kumar told IANS.

Police said they could not rule out loot, property dispute or personal enmity in the case and further investigations were on. 

According to police, the landlord of the house died around two-and-half years beck.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
