London, April 29: Kylie Minogue and her Spanish beau reportedly shelled 40,000 pounds on golf gear after stepping into a silent English town by helicopter.

The stunning singer allegedly spent hours with model Andres Velencoso to bag the made-to-measure irons, woods and putters. The couple then purportedly headed to a nearby club to play a few holes. “Our top range of clubs works out at about 1,000-pound per set,” the Sun quoted a source at club manufacturer Ping in Gainsborough, Lincs, as saying. “She has homes all over the world, and wanted a set for each place. “By the time they had done buying stuff like golf bags, between them they had got through 40,000 pounds,” the source added. The source further said: “She has become a bit of a golf addict in recent months. She was like a kid in a candy store when she saw our pro shop. “We don’t normally deal direct with the public, but we made a special arrangement for her and Andres.” ANI
