Taslima Nasreen chants 'Bharat Mata ki jai', says people like Asaduddin Owaisi should be exposed
A day after Bollywood's renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar lashed out at AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi for his 'won't say Bharat Mata ki jai' remark, Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen has said that people like Owaisi should be exposed.

New Delhi: A day after Bollywood's renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar lashed out at AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi for his 'won't say Bharat Mata ki jai' remark, Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen has said that people like Owaisi should be exposed.
She has also praised that Javed Akhtar's speech in Rajya Sabha saying it was very moving. The Bangladeshi author also said 'Bharat Mata ki jai'.
Taking to Twitter, Taslima Nasreen wrote, "Javed Akhtar@Javedakhtarjadu 's farewell speech at Rajya Sabha was very moving. People like Owaisi should be exposed. Bharat Mata Ki Jai (sic)."

Javed Akhtar, in a veiled attack, on Tuesday, attacked AIMIM leader and MP Asaddudin Owaisi for saying he will not chant ‘Bharat mata ki jai’ because the Constitution does not ask him to do so.
“The Constitution even does not ask him to wear sherwani (dress) and topi (cap)," Javed Akhtar said.
Akhtar then chanted ‘Bharat mata ki jai’ a number of times.
