Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi may not be able to attend President Pranab Mukherjee's Iftar party on Wednesday, as per reports.
Reports said that the PM has a prior engagement.
PM Modi will chair a meeting with Chief Ministers from the Northeastern states, including Sikkim at 1900 hours tomorrow, as per a PIB release.
The release also stated that important development projects related to these states and the entire Northeastern region, are likely to figure in this meeting.
The PM will also chair the second meeting of the Governing Council of the NITI Aayog tomorrow morning at 7, Race Course Road.

Last year too, PM Modi had not been able to Iftar at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
