Radhe Maa may flee to Nanded today to evade arrest

New Delhi: Self-styled godwoman Mamtamai Radhe Guru Maa, who has been booked in an alleged dowry harassment case, is expected to travel to Nanded, Maharashtra to evade arrest, reports said on Saturday.

Radhe Maa, known for her glamorous life-style, was seen at Aurangabad on Friday. She was staying at Hotel Meadows in Padegaon, eight kilometres away from the city.

Reports say that she was interrogated by the city police for more than an hour, but the police was tight-lipped about the details.

Radhe Maa is allegedly involved in a case of domestic violence and torture of one of her disciples Niki Gupta, who is a resident of Borivali in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, in more trouble for controversial godwoman Radhe Maa, a resident of Punjab's Jalandhar has now accused her of harassment.

According to reports, Surendra Mittal has come up with an audio tape in which he is allegedly being threatened by none other than the godwoman herself. Mittal also claims that Radhe Maa had called him up on one night in April and threatened him of dire consequences.

To prove his point further, Mittal has also produced a copy of the messages that were exchanged on WhatsApp between him and a mobile number registered in Punjab.

Mittal claims the mobile number to be that of godwoman Radhe Maa. He also claimed that he was threatened because he has been in regular touch with a Mumbai-based woman, who had filed an FIR against the godwoman for harassment and mental torture, and instigating her in-laws to demand dowry.

Radhe Maa was booked under Dowry Prohibition Act in Mumbai following the complaint.

The complainant alleged that Radhe Maa had demanded Rs 7 lakh cash and gold jewellery, besides asking for special treatment to attend the marriage reception party.

Mittal had also vehemently opposed Radhe Maa in 2012 when she declared herself as an incarnation of God in Punjab's Phagwara and staged a dharna against her.

Radhe Maa, who is known for her lavish lifestyle and high-profile ‘devotees', had recently stirred a controversy after several objectionable pictures of this self-proclaimed spiritual leader surfaced in the media.

Radhe Maa, who is said to be a big fan of porn star-turned-actress Sunny Leone, recently posed as a model in a mini skirt and asked devotees to pick her up.

The controversy started after Rahul Mahajan, who is famous for his stints in reality TV, on Wednesday tweeted pictures of a lady in a mini skirt and asked his followers to guess who she was.

Rahul had apparently tweeted pictures of the Mumbai-based godwoman Radhe Maa.

This self-styled godwoman has been banned from visiting Nashik during the ongoing Kumbh Mela.
