Rajya Sabha records 100% productivity, Lok Sabha 110%: Naqvi

Monsoon Session was "productive" thanks to all parties and members for their "constructive" support, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi tweeted.

New Delhi: While the Lok Sabha posted performance wise productivity in the monsoon session of 111 percent, the Rajya Sabha achieved 100 percent, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said on Friday.

"I am happy that in Monsoon Session, productivity in Rajya Sabha was about 100 percent and for Lok Sabha it was about 111 percent," Naqvi, who is Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, said in a series of tweets.

In the Monsoon Session, fruitful discussions were held on important issues like price rise, floods, Kashmir, education, he said.
