New Delhi: It was a usual day for External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in Parliament on Thursday.
Except that she bumped into somebody special inside the Parliament complex.
It was none other than her husband Swaraj Kaushal.
Sushma, who is one of the most active ministers on Twitter, shared the moment on the micro-blogging website with a picture of theirs holding hands.
And she tweeted:
Together after many years - a chance meeting with @governorswaraj at the Parliament House gate today. /1 pic.twitter.com/yHvD0NliSt

While in the tweet, she talked about meeting her better half in Parliament complex, it was the usage of the phrase "together after many years" that generated curiosity among Twitter users.
When many of her followers desired for an explanation what she meant by “together after many years”, the minister in her usual simplicity replied:

The minister was clarifying that he husband too had been a Parliamentarian and both of them were members of the Rajya Sabha between 2000 and 2004.
Kaushal had also served as governor of Mizoram from 1990 to 1993.
He was a member of Rajya Sabha from 1998-2004. I was in Lok Sabha. Then I came to Rajya Sabha in 2000. /2
