Union Budget 2016-17: Middle class should have got more relief, says Kamal Nath

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath on Monday said the middle class in the country should have got more relief in the union budget proposals for 2016-17.

"I think the middle class should have got more relief," the former union urban development minister told media persons outside Parliament House.

The middle class comprises the majority of the country`s nearly 1.3 billion population, he added. 

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the general budget in the Lok Sabha on Monday.
