Lal Singh enquires about injured persons at GMC hospital

 Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Lal Singh on Tuesday enquired about the health of the injured 52 passengers admitted at a Government hospital here following an accident in which 24 people were killed in Udhampur district and assured best possible treatment.

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Lal Singh on Tuesday enquired about the health of the injured 52 passengers admitted at a Government hospital here following an accident in which 24 people were killed in Udhampur district and assured best possible treatment.

He visited Government Medical College hospital here and directed the hospital administration to provide best possible treatment to the injured.

The minister was accompanied by Director of Health Services, Jammu Dr Baljeet Singh Pathania, Mission Director National Health Mission Dr Yash Pal Sharma, besides Chief Medical Officer.

Twenty four people were killed and 49 others injured when an overloaded bus skidded off the road and rolled down into a 300-feet deep gorge in Marothi belt of Udhampur district yesterday.
