New Delhi, Sept 08: BJP today charged Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh with making "false and baseless" allegations against RSS that it was training its cadres in the
use of explosives in the state and those surrounding it for use at the time of Assembly elections.

"The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister is making false and
baseless allegations against RSS that it is training its
workers in the making of explosives for use during the coming
Assembly elections. The message is only to give BJP a bad
name," party president M Venkaiah Naidu told reporters here.

He said this and the allegation that BJP was planning
communal clashes in the state "only shows that Congress has
become nervous and is losing self-confidence".

"If there are camps giving training for making of
explosives, has the Chief Minister given any information
regarding this to the central government on this. He should
come clear on these allegations," Naidu said.

"We would like to know where such training camps of RSS
are on and what are the kind of explosives that are being
taught to be made in these camps," he asked.

Naidu said earlier the president of the Congress women's
wing of Madhya Pradesh had made an allegation that Prime
Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had eaten beef and this had led
the Congress to distance itself from the women's wing which
subsequently had to retract its statement.
