Congress hails DMK's decision

Chennai,Dec 20: Congress today welcomed the DMK's
decision to withdraw from the BJP-led NDA.

TNCC president G K Vasan, in a statement here, said the
decision would enable all secular forces to come under one
umbrella to prevent BJP from gaining strength in Tamil Nadu.

The DMK's decision would lay the foundation for setting
up of a secular front in the state, he said.
