New Delhi: Army chief Gen Bikram Singh on Monday held a farewell dinner for Defence Minister AK Antony here.
The Army Chief, who also heads the Chiefs of Staffs Committee, hosted the farewell dinner at the Akash Air Force officers` mess here.
Senior military and civilian officers were present, Army officials said here.
Antony, who had replaced Pranab Mukherjee as the Defence Minister in UPA-I government in 2006, is the longest-serving Defence Minister in the country.
