BJP president Rajnath Singh on Friday directed party leaders to maintain discipline, cautioning that the party will not tolerate embarrassment at any level.

Jaipur: BJP president Rajnath Singh on Friday directed party leaders to maintain discipline, cautioning that the party will not tolerate embarrassment at any level. Addressing the inaugural session of the party`s two-day workshop, meant to train new legislators and discuss strategy for the coming Lok Sabha polls, Singh said any act which may embarrass government or the party will not be tolerated at any level, according to a spokesperson.
The workshop was skipped by some leaders including Ghanshyam Tiwari, Narpat Singh Rajvi and Manvendra Singh. The ruling party MLAs Ghanshyam Tiwari, Rao Rajendra Singh, cabinet minister Gulabchand Kataria had disapproved provisions of a bill in Vidhansabha yesterday. The bill aimed at stopping hoarding was passed but the government had to face resistance from its own legislators. Singh accused Congress party of doing divisive politics and said it wants to remain in power by dividing communities. Kaptan Singh Solanki, In charge of the party`s affairs in the state, asked newly elected MLAs to study rules of business in the assembly and actively participate in the house proceedings. After the inaugural session, Health Minister Rajendra Rathore said around a dozen MLAs were not present in the workshop due to their own reasons. "Those who did not attend the inaugural session had their own reasons," he said. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, party MLAs and MPs, those who lost assembly elections were present in the session. During the two-day workshop, the party is discussing strategy to win all the 25 parliamentary seats in the state in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.
