Christina Aguilera lends her voice for charity

London: Pop star Christina Aguilera has recorded a public service announcement to raise funds for a hunger relief campaign.

The `Beautiful` hitmaker is a global spokesperson for the United Nations World Hunger Relief, the charity behind the Yum! Brands` global relief drive, which is backed by its chains of restaurant, reported Daily Star. "The concept of my new PSA for Yum! Brands` World Hunger Relief effort really moves me, not just because I`m a mother, but because it speaks to anyone who has ever struggled to feed their children. "It is a devastating issue but one that we can help solve and that`s why I`m so passionate about using my voice by raising awareness," she said. The new PSA will air from this month. PTI
